Even More Choice offered by the Motability Scheme’s New Winter Price List

Joining the Motability Scheme is now even more affordable, following the release of the new winter Price List this month.

The range of options available to Scheme customers has increased by 25%, with the new Price List now offering over 750 vehicles to choose from. This includes over 400 Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) – providing customers with mobility solutions that suit a variety of different disability and transport needs.

The latest Price List also contains 47 fully electric vehicles (EVs) – demonstrating the Scheme’s commitment to supporting the transition to electric. As part of its worry-free package, for customers leasing their first EV through the Scheme, Motability Operations will arrange and cover the cost of a home chargepoint and its installation.

Motability Operations continues to be committed to keeping prices affordable for their customers, and have been working hard to ensure that the winter Price List achieves this. There are now nearly 200 vehicles to choose from with an Advance Payment of £500 or under, including 89 cars available with zero Advance Payment. The Scheme now also has more than three times the number of vehicles available for less than a customer’s total mobility allowance. This means that only some of the mobility allowance pays for the lease, and that customers can get some of the remaining money back each week.

On average, the worry-free package - that includes insurance, roadside assistance and everything customers need to stay on the road - continues to be 45% cheaper than another commercial leasing option.

The car market is continuing to face ongoing global supply issues, and the delivery times for some new vehicles are still taking longer than usual. Scheme customers are advised to make their application as soon as they can to secure their place in the queue. The Motability Scheme‘s price guarantee means that this will also lock in the Advance Payment of the car on the date the order is accepted. As the Motability Scheme is committed to ensuring that customers remain mobile, current customers’ leases are being extended automatically while they wait for delivery of their new car.

Andrew Miller, CEO of Motability Operations commenting on the pricing update said:

“This quarter we are pleased to be able to support our customers by making our vehicles even more affordable, we have 89 cars with no Advance Payment and nearly 200 cars with an Advance Payment under £500. We understand that affordability is more important than ever right now, and we want to provide the best possible value for our customers.

‘’We’ve been working hard with all of our partners to increase our broad range of vehicles by a further 25%, and I hope this helps our customers to easily find and lease the vehicle that is most suitable for them.”
