With many Motability Scheme customers worrying about the barriers to electric motoring, Motability Operations has launched its latest pilot programme in partnership with drivvn.

Using drivvn’s electric vehicle ‘suitability assessment tool’ it’s hoped that many more Motability Scheme customers can understand if the transition to an electric vehicle (EV) is the right choice for them right now; prioritising Motability Operations’ commitment to customer personalisation and communication.

Digital tools are playing a pivotal role in the transition to EVs for everyone and are crucial in engaging Scheme customers throughout this journey. As a company, drivvn focuses on understanding consumer behaviour and their electric vehicle ‘suitability assessment tool’, delivers educational insight and guidance to customers considering a switch to EV.

The tool is based on personalised factors such as driving habits, mileage requirements, access to public and home charging, the customer’s confidence in EVs and much more. Customers are also able to find out how their driving habits may impact switching to an electric car, and access information about frequently visited charging points; all aiding customers in feeling comfortable and informed should they make the move to EV.
