Record number of electric vehicles now available on the Motability Scheme

With the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the UK fast approaching, we are continuing our £300 million investment to support our customers with the transition to electric. We are continuing to prioritise affordability and have expanded the vehicle options available on the Scheme.

With over 98 electric vehicles (EVs) now available, the latest Price List includes highlights such as the MG4 and Mini Electric Hatchback both available with no Advance Payment. Scheme customers can also benefit from the same worry-free package and if a customer is leasing an EV through the Scheme for the first time, Motability Operations offers support with charging - including covering the cost of a home chargepoint and a standard installation. Customers who are reliant on public chargepoints will be given a subscription to the bp pulse network during their lease. This gives access to over 9,000 public chargepoints, including 3,000 rapid and ultra-fast, with some points being free to access.

The latest Price List also offers a diverse selection of petrol, diesel and hybrid cars with an increased number of vehicles available at zero Advance Payment. This extensive range ensures that Scheme customers have ample choices to meet their specific needs, preferences and budget. Additionally, eligible Scheme customers can also use the £750 New Vehicle Payment towards the cost of their Advance Payment.
