We're award winners! Last week we attended the Disability Smart Awards 2023 by the Business Disability Forum - a celebration of all the innovative, and inclusive work organisations do to improve the experiences of disabled employees and customers.

The Motability Scheme has launched a new partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball, with specific support for its grassroots programme Inspire a Generation (IAG).

#PurpleLightUp is a global movement that celebrates the economic contribution of the 386 million disabled employees around the world. In line with International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) #PurpleLightUp is held annually on 3 December where the world lights up in purple to empower disabled people.

Euan’s Guide and Motability Operations are inviting anyone who needs to consider disabled access in their daily lives to voice their opinions now. The National Access Survey offers participants a chance to share their lived experiences of disabled access, encouraging feedback that will help to shape the charity’s work.

Motability Operations has achieved Disability Confident Leader status in the government-backed Disability Confident scheme, which encourages businesses to become better at attracting, recruiting, and employing people with disabilities.

A new Access Survey will give disabled people and their families the chance to share their experiences, insights and feedback on how accessible Britain is. The survey is now open for responses here.

Motability Operations has created a new University Scholarship Programme that provides financial help and valuable work experience for Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority students.

Motability Operations has published its Gender Pay Gap report for 2020, which shows that over the last three years, we have seen a 5% decrease in our Gender Pay Gap from 29.6% (as reported in April 2018). Our figures for April 2020 have decreased to 24.6% (mean) and 19% (median).
